Having split from previous band, Hang the DJ, singer and guitarist Matt Pearson found himself fuelled with an arsenal of original songs, often written in the early hours of the morning.
But joining forces with lifelong friend and bassist Will Haslam, guitarist James Berger Harrison and drummer Dan Martin, the band The Hunger was formed.
The group then took on Matt's brother Ben on keyboards and, via a name change to Corkstone, the line up became closer than ever.
The name is taken from the famous stone at Stanton.
All band members chip in with backing vocals depending on the tracks.
