“Since we launched the flavour to compliment our ever expanding range it has took off like no other.
“We are now into our third week and so far we have had not one single negative comment, even amongst our staff where we have a closet Marmite hater.”
The married dad-of-two bought the shop in 2010 after working in the meat industry all of his working life, including 22 years as a meat trainer for a large supermarket chain.

Jake added that his Marmite sausages have received lots of positive comments and 'even the haters' have tried samples and liked them.
"We love to try new things in the shop," he said. "I am lucky I have a team of staff who think of new ideas and I am always receptive and we give them a go.
"Previous successes have been our homemade scotch eggs which fly out, particularly when fresh from the oven. As well as our mini sausage rolls made with all the different flavoured sausage meats we create, and our range of homemade pork pies which includes Stilton topped, chilli jam, stuffing, black pudding and chorizo.

"We use free range pork in all our sausages and fill using natural sheep casings, and we generally have about 15 different varieties on sale, maybe more at the weekends."
