BELPER Town striker Ross Hannah has become Matlock Town's third signing in seven days.
The 22-year-old, who scored 26 goals in 48 league and cup games last season, including the decisive penalty in the second leg of the Derbyshire Senior Cup final, follows defenders Lee Featherstone and Ashley Foyle into the Geoquip Stadium.

A Gladiators spokesman said: "This is a major signing for the Gladiators and the management intend to pair him with Causeway Lane favourite Simon Barraclough, creating a very mobile strike force."

Hannah was a junior with both Sheffield Wednesday and United before signing for Stocksbridge in 2004.

He then had his first spell at Belper with a two-month loan from Stocksbridge, during which time he scored 16 goals in just 20 games, before joining Conference North side Gainsborough Trinity for the 2006/07 season.

Hannah returned to Christchurch Meadow last August, but with Belper missing out on the UniBond First Diviison North play-offs, the ambitious Hannah is said to be looking forward to progressing his career with a step up to the Premier Division.

Sink or swim?
I use the pool and want it kept open
I do not use the pool but believe the money should be used to keep it open for others
I think the money should be used and put to other use by the council
