UniBond Premier Division
Matlock Town 2-0 Whitby Town
ROSS Hannah scored twice in the last 20 minutes to earn Matlock Town's first three points of what promises to be a challenging season.

But Whitby made them work for the win and Andy Richmond made some fine saves to thwart the Seasiders before Hannah collected his late brace.

Hannah's first came when he outmuscled Lee Pallender to score from the edge of the box with a precise finish on 72 minutes.

Eight minutes later, the striker was brought down by Whitby keeper Ben Escritt and got up to fire home the penalty himself, his fourth goal in three games.

Matlock travel to big-spending Guiseley on Monday (3pm), who collected a 6-3 win at Prescot Cables on Saturday afternoon.
