In The Hope Valley Football League, Grindleford suffered a 2-0 defeat in their Premier Division fixture at champions Brampton, who boast a 100 per cent record so far this season.
In A Division, Bakewell put last week's frustrations at Totley behind them as Nick Shimwell and Ed Surplice registered in their 2-1 win at Queens FC.

In B Division, Stoney Middleton shared the points in an eight goal thriller at home to Peak Dale,
but it could - and should - have been all three for the hosts.

They were 3-0 up before Peak pulled one back before the break.

The visitors then turned the game on its head by scoring three more to take the lead, including a controversial penalty.

But Stoney fought back, equalised and then had the chance to win it from the spot with five minutes to go, only for the kick to be fired wide of the post.

Brendan Scott, Steve Fox, Jason Brassington and Ryan Hodgkinson did hit the target for Stoney, however.

Baslow got the better of Youlgrave United by the odd goal at Alport Lane.

Dave Febrero was again on target for Baslow, while Chris Walker got a second for the visitors who played the entire 90 minutes with just ten men due to unavailability. Sam Lightfoot replied for Youlgrave.
