Children at a Matlock-area school were treated to a special Egyptian themed day as part of their project work.
The youngsters at Crich Carr CE Infant School enjoyed dressing up and problem solving on an Egyptian theme to help with lessons.

Headteacher Anne Punchard said: "It was a very enjoyable day, the children learnt a lot and had fun. They had a choice of whether to dress up or not and they always rise to the occasion.

"Children learn best when exposed to different types of learning and we always try to put the curriculum across in as many different ways as possible."

The topics and workshops are all building up to a special Egyptian themed Christmas concert at the end of the year.
