Flower power has been brought to nursing home residents thanks to kind donations from a Matlock store.
Sainsbury's bosses have been giving unsold bouquets to local charities and nursing homes, to cut waste and help brighten up peoples' lives.
Store manager Nick Hawkins said: "This is a great scheme.
"Not only does it bring sunshine in to people's life by providing them with a bright bunch of flowers but it also reduces wastage.
"I am really glad we are able to support our local nursing homes and hope that we can continue to work with them in the future."
