Two arrested after drugs raid in Matlock Bath

Two people have been arrested following a drugs raid in Matlock Bath.

Police raided a house in Brunswood Road and found a quantity of cannabis.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old woman and 29-year-old man on suspicion of possessing cannabis. They have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Pc Ian Cooper said: "We executed the warrant in Matlock Bath following information provided by the local community.

"We would urge anyone with information about drugs in their area to contact the police or Crimestoppers.

"If you see anyone acting suspiciously, please report it."
