Police release photos of eight people they want to speak to after fight at Chesterfield pub

Police said a ‘large fight’ took place at the Portland Hotel on West Bars at 11pm on Saturday, 4 July – the first day pubs were allowed to reopen in England – and left several people injured.
Staff at the pub, which is a Wetherspoons, were assaulted after trying to break up the fight, which took place between three groups of customers.
A drink was thrown in the face of a member of staff.

Hide AdFootage of the brawl later surfaced on social media and was shared by 1,200 people, with residents slamming the actions of those involved.
