James Smith, 56, of Middlecroft Road, Staveley, Chesterfield: Guilty of driving uninsured and without a licence. Fined £320, made to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Driving record endorsed with seven points.

Damien Rough, 41, of Frecheville Street, Staveley: Guilty of common assault and criminal damage. Given 80 hours unpaid work. Made to pay £200 compensation, £85 court costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
