DRAMATIC PICTURES: Car goes up in flames on Derbyshire road
A driver escaped uninjured when their car went up in flames on a busy road.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on the A38 at Alfreton at about 3.55pm today.
A spokesman for Derbyshire fire service said: "The car was well-alight."
Drivers faced delays as crews battled the flames.
It is not clear how the blaze started.
