LETTER: I don't want Chesterfield to be a part of Yorkshire

I have just read on the Derbyshire County Council website that Chesterfield Council was considering the possibility of putting us into the same pot as Sheffield for the area regeneration. '¨As I live in Derbyshire, I and my wife have no desire to become part of Yorkshire. What is so wrong with the D2N2 option? '¨Is the town council going to give the rate payers a vote on where we want to be? I don't think so. '¨Well I say to all the councillors, I will not be voting for you if you go ahead and put us in Yorkshire.
