Security kits up for grabs in Eyam
Officers will be taking Operation Illuminate to St Lawrence Church in Eyam on Friday, January 10, and Friday, January 24, between 10am and noon.
The annual drive, which is led by Derbyshire Dales Community Safety Partnership, sees police officers and council staff heading out into local communities to offer crime prevention advice.

PCSO Anthony Boswell from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “It would be great to see as many people as we can at the event and we will be on hand to chat to residents about steps that they can take to protect their homes from criminals during the darker nights.
“Simple steps can be taken such as making sure that windows and doors are locked when you leave the house or go to bed, and removing house and car keys from view of windows.
“Leaving a light on if you are going out after dark or using timers and ‘dusk til dawn bulbs’ can help to deter a criminal from targeting your home.”
