Man injured in collision 'caused by wind' on Chesterfield Bypass
Emergency services were called out to the Chesterfield Bypass last night, after a man was injured in a one-vehicle collision.
The accident happened at around 10.45pm yesterday (Friday, December 4) on the A61 Chesterfield Bypass.
The man driving the vehicle, believed to be in his mid-30s, sustained injuries to his lower back in the collision.
A Derbyshire fire and rescue spokesman told The Star: "The man said he had crashed into the barrier. He told us this was caused by the high winds at the time."
