Gales and showers battered the region overnight - bringing down trees and fences.
The weather warning - which remains in place until 3pm today - will bring disruption on roads - with delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.

Hide AdWhile journeys by rail and road in general are predicted - with bus and train services affected.
Power cuts in some areas are also possible.
The Met office advises the public to stay indoors as much as possible but anyone who does go out should avoid boundary walls and fences - which could fail and collapse.
They advise against driving unless absolutely necessary and to take care when driving on exposed routes such as bridges, or high open roads - finding alternative routes where this is possible.
