Sussex in dominant mode over Derbyshire
Sussex's batsmen continued to dominate on the second day at Hove as they reached 216 for 1 at tea against Derbyshire.
Derbyshire’s six-man attack kept plugging away, but a slow pitch holds few terrors for the batsmen.
Openers Chris Nash and Ed Joyce put on 113 before Nash was bowled by a full toss from Wayne Madsen for 65, only the part-time off-spinner’s 12th first-class wicket.
